Retirement Party

Aunt Linda retired in December and we went to a retirement party for her. We had a great time! And loved celebrating Aunt Linda!!!!! Now she helps with babysitting!!! :)

Sleep Over Weekend!

Thanksgiving weekend Angela and John went to Vegas so Nicolas and Joshua stayed with us. Cooper had a blast. We took them to John's Incredible Pizza and we all had fun!

Thanksgiving

We decided to host Thanksgiving Dinner. We had lots of help and it turned out to be a great day!

Disneyland

In November Grandma came over and watched Olivia so Cooper could have Mommy and Daddy all to himself. We went to Disneyland and California Adventure and did all Cooper's favorites, the train, Small World, Playhouse Disney, and the rockets.

As we were walking out we noticed that the rockets had a 45 minute wait. We tried to just pass them by and skip them but Cooper new exactly what was happening. He said he wanted to wait. He waited patiently and was so happy he did!

Bye Bye Binky!

So... Cooper has been SLEEPING ONLY with his binky since he was 1 1/2. We were going to take it away before Olivia came but the doctor said to wait until he was three. And so we did... thank goodness because the poor little guy was already dealing with a lot of change. One day about a month or so ago Josh came home from work and we decided to plant the seed that pretty soon we were going to have to throw all his binkies away. That's where we left it, thinking we would give him some time to take it all in. About an hour later Cooper took Josh his binky and said he wanted to throw it away in the outside trash cans so the trash man would take it away. Of course we jumped at the opportunity, gathered all the binkies and Cooper took them to the outside trashcans and threw them away himself. I was all prepared for the worst but it has been a breeze. He asked for it once or twice and we reminded him that HE threw them away. And he was ok with that! Thank goodness!!!!!
