Adjusting!

I really wasn't sure about Olivia when Mommy and Daddy first brought her home. I couldn't understand why I wasn't getting ALL the attention anymore. I had a few pretty rough days where I was just feeling really sad. Mommy and Daddy did their very best to help me get through this time. And sure enough now I realize that my sister is a part of our family and there is enough love for the both of us! :)

Mommy and Daddy decided at the last minute this morning that we should attempt to go to church. I was excited about it because I really enjoy my sunday school class. We all got ready in just over an hour and were only a few minutes late. Before you know it we will have this down!

Meet Your Teacher

I start preschool on Wednesday next week. Last Thursday we went to my school to meet my teacher Mrs. Estes. I had a lot of fun seeing my classroom, playing with the toys, meeting my new friends, and trying out the potty! :)

Meet My Baby Sister

On the evening of Tuesday August 24th Mommy began to notice her contractions were getting more and more painful and frequent. We called Grandma to come to my house to watch me because we knew Mommy and Daddy would soon be going to the hospital to have my baby sister who I have been anxiously waiting for.

Olivia was born on August 25th at 5:44 am. She was 7 lbs. 6 oz. and 19 1/2 inches long. I have been blessed with a beautiful, healthy, baby sister. Meet Olivia Christine Hogan!

Lunch and a Movie

Grandma took me to the Aquarium so Mommy and Daddy had one more date before Olivia was going to come. They went out to lunch and then to a movie! And I had a lot of fun with Grandma!

Flower Time

The favors at Mommy's baby shower were flower seeds that we were supposed to plant for Olivia. So one day me and Mommy went out and planted the seeds. I dug a hole, put the seeds in it, covered them up with dirt, and then gave them lots of water to drink. Mommy told me pretty soon they would start to grow as long as I watered them everyday!

I have watered my plant everyday since I planted it and guess what? It's growing! I get so excited to go out and water it everyday. I see how the plant is getting bigger and bigger. Mommy says it will start to grow flowers pretty soon! I can't wait! I am so proud of my plant that I show everyone who comes over!

Finger Painting

Last week it was REALLY hot outside so Mommy tried to do some things outdoors with me early in the morning. We decided to try out the finger paint. I loved it! I was quite the artist and believe it or not, I hardly even made a mess. And when Mommy said it was time to clean up I cleaned everything all by myself!

We spent a lot of time walking when it was getting closer to Olivia's due date. For some reason Mommy thought that would make her come sooner. I dressed myself for this walk. My pajama shirt, pants (that were in the good will pile because they are much too short), and my Volcom hat! Don't be jealous of my outfit!

Baby Toys

Mommy and Daddy got out all of my old baby toys for baby Olivia when she comes. When Mommy and Daddy came into Olivia's room this is what they found. Somehow I managed to squeeze my big body into this little baby bouncer seat! You're never to old for toys!

Swim Time

Grandma picks up my cousin Brooke once a week. So when she does we try to tag along with them. I have lots of fun playing with Brooke!

Shower Time!

Auntie Linda, Auntie Angie, and Nannie threw an amazing baby shower for Mommy. Mommy had such a great time and appreciates all the hard work that went into giving her a great shower! Thank you ladies!!!! We love you!!!!!

The Beach

We went to the beach and I loved it. I wasn't too sure about the sand at first. I made Daddy carry me all the way from the car. Then I wanted to stay on the towel for a little bit. Finally I got brave enough to venture out on the sand. By the end of the day I didn't mind it at all!
