OUCH!!!!!

I had my six month doctor's appointment today. I performed very well for Dr. Marino. I was a very good boy and did everything the doctor wanted me too. I am growing just great! I am in the 50th percentile for weight and the 80th percentile for height. This is a picture of me getting my shots. I was so happy the whole appointment and then they had to ruin it by giving me a shot. I screamed while it happened but then settled down very quickly. Then I took a nap.

Grandma came to visit me too today! I showed her how I can sit up all by myself. I am getting to be such a big boy!!!

Carrie Carpenter

Me and Mommy went to Santa Monica yesterday to visit Mommy's friend Carrie from Michigan State. Carrie's sister just had a brand new baby. He's so cute!!!! and little.....

Cooper the Organist!

Me and Mommy went to Great Grandma Fry's house on Tuesday. Grandpa was there. We played the organ and we sat and played with Grandma's dog Louie. I also experienced my first earthquake that day. Me and Mommy were at the Yauchzee's house and Daddy was at work. Thank goodness we were at the Yauchzee's and not home alone!!!!! Mommy doesn't like earthquakes but I didn't really mind it.

Go Dodgers!

Mommy and Daddy took me to my first Dodger game on Sunday for my 6 month birthday! I don't know what has taken them so long to finally get me to a real game! I had a lot of fun! I watched the game, took a nap, and then ate some lunch... Turns out I am good luck! The Dodger's won 2-0. Mommy and Daddy should take me to the games more often. It is much more fun than watching the Dodger's on TV!!!!

I'm going to play shortstop for the Los Angeles Dodgers when I grow up!!!!

Grandma's House

This is me with my cousins. We spent the day over my Grandma's house to celebrate Dana's mom's birthday! I had lots of fun watching my cousins swim and visiting with everyone! I'm really going to miss my cousin Adam when he goes away to bootcamp! I love you Adam!

Fireman's Olympics

We went to San Jose to watch Daddy and his friends play in the Fireman's Olympics. I had a lot of fun cheering for Daddy's team! Daddy hit me lots of homeruns!!!!

Lake Shasta

Here I am with Grandpa Craig at Lake Shasta. We camped for one week. I had so much fun! It was very hot though, but after I got used to it I did just great! I had a lot of fun bonding with Grandpa!
I took A LOT of cold baths because it was the only way Mommy and Daddy could keep me cool. Although I really liked when Uncle Ray sprayed me with the spray bottle!!! It took me by surprise every time but boy did it feel good!!! There were record breaking temperatures while we were there. We were told that at times it was 114 degrees! Boy was it HOT!!!!! Thanks for the great duckie Luke!!!!!

Here I am staying cool with Aunt Linda. Aunt Linda and Aunt Sherry babysat me so Mommy and Daddy could go wakeboarding with Uncle Ryan and Auntie Shealee! Thanks for all your help Aunties!!!!!!!

Here I am just being HAPPY!!!!

Here is part of our campsite. We slept outside under the stars because it was much too hot to sleep in the tent. I loved to lay in my crib and watch the trees blow above me. I slept through the night almost every night. Mommy and Daddy sure liked that. They slept on an air mattress right next to me.

I spent a lot of time jumping and talking in my jumper. I had a lot of fun!

My First Fourth of July!

My first Fourth of July was great! I made sure to take a nap before we went to the park because the fireworks didn't start until after my bedtime. The loud noises didn't even scare me. I looked at the fireworks every once in a while but I was most interested in the cars driving by and all the people.

Havasu!

I went on my first trip to Lake Havasu last week. I had so much fun! I wasn't sure about my life jacket but Mommy and Daddy said I had to wear it. Once I got used to it I did great. As soon as Daddy started to drive the boat I immediately fell asleep! I just couldn't stay awake because it was so relaxing!










We hung out on a beach for most of the day! Daddy blew up a pool for me to lounge in because it was really hot! That way I kept nice and cool!

I took a nap on the beach because all the playing really wore me out! If you look real closely you will see that I had a visitor while I was napping! A mule came down to get a drink of water. I didn't see it but Mommy and Daddy told me all about it! It's not everyday that you see a mule in Havasu!

Mommy and Daddy's Anniversary

We celebrated Mommy and Daddy's second wedding anniversary yesterday! We had a picnic in the park! We had a lot of fun just being together! I was very talkative! I seem to have really found my voice in the last few days. I now realize that not only can I make noises with my mouth but I can control how loud those noises are when they come out. I really enjoy having conversations with my toys too!

Swimming

Grandma bought me a new pool so I went swimming for the first time on Sunday! I wasn't sure about it at first but then I started to like it. I liked watching Mommy pour water out of the blue bucket! I kept trying to grab the water as Mom was pouring it but my hands kept going right through it!

Carrots!

I started eating baby food a couple weeks ago. I really like carrots but I seem to get more on my face than I do in my mouth:) All of a sudden I am very interested in everything mommy and daddy eat and drink. I can't wait to eat real food!
