A Little Late...

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I'm so thankful for all the amazing people in my life that love me and care for me everyday!
We had a great Thanksgiving but one thing was missing... My Daddy! He had to work, so me and Mommy went to Grandma Kathy's and then we went to Aunt Linda's for a big Thanksgiving dinner.
Sorry there are no pictures. Mommy forgot to take the camera out of her purse! Ooops!

Last Weekend

On Saturday I went to Grandma's house. Grandma was giving Joshy piano lessons. Joshy and me played the piano together when they were done. Some day Grandma will give me piano lessons. Right now she's just trying to teach me to play the piano gently and not to pound on the keys.
On Sunday me and Mommy went to Nicolas' baseball game. Auntie Angie gave me Cheese Puffs. What a MESS!!! I was so excited when Joshy got to the game with Uncle Johnny that I just about jumped out of my stroller!
Playing cars with Joshy... We had to walk Joshy over to his baseball game. I was very upset when he left me...

Ohhh My Ears!

So... after my last set of ear infections Dr. Marino said enough is enough. She gave us a referal for an ear specialist. We went yesterday to see him. Dr. Waki said
I currently have fluid in my ears but they are not infected. My ear canal does not allow for the fluid to drain. So... as soon as I am around someone that is sick, the bacteria reaches the fluid in my ears and causes an infection. Dr. Waki said the best thing is to put tubes in my ears to let the fluid drain so I do not get the infections.

This is also, most likely, the cause of my speech delay. Anybody who knows me knows that I am a little chatterbox. I am contantly holding extensive conversations with people I know and even people I don't. The problem is that nobody understands me. Because I constantly have fluid in my ears, I hear things differently than everyone else. This is why I have made up my own language. Dr. Waki said that after the tubes are put in, I should shortly begin speaking ENGLISH!!!! Then when I talk to people we can make sense of conversations we hold. And... I should be free of ear infections!

Sanatizing my hands, waiting to see Dr. Waki...

Mommy and Daddy realize that having tubes put in my ears is what is best for me. They are only uneasy about the fact that it is considered a surgical procedure, meaning I have to be put to sleep. Dr. Waki performs up to 4 or 5 of these procedures a week, so it is very common. He only works with a few anesthesiologists that he completely trusts with babies. Please keep me in your prayers as I go through this procedure (and mommy and daddy too, that they are able to be at rest with their decision to move forward).

The secretary will be calling in the next week to schedule the procedure. Hopefully it all takes place within the next month. We will keep you updated.

Play Date

Me and mommy went to Myles, Mason, and Maddex's house today so I could play with all my friends and celebrate Aubrey's birthday. We had lots of fun playing in their gigantic backyard. It's like a park!!!! And now that I am such a big boy, mommy actually got to sit down and visit her friends while I played, instead of chase me around all day.

Me, Korey, and Luke...

Bath Time Fun!

I love bath time. Every night after dinner I take a bath. I love playing with these finger puppets that you see in this picture. I usually set them up on the side of the bathtub and talk to them, just like this.

Irvine Spectrum

Last weekend we had family night out. We went to Irvine Spectrum for dinner, merry-go-round, and some shopping.
The merry-go-round was fun until it started moving...
Watching a guy singing...
