Pretend City

With Olivia's due date quickly approaching Mommy and Daddy tried to do as many fun things over the summer as we could. We went to a children's museum called Pretend City. I had so much fun! I can't wait to go back!

Getting Ready for Baby Livi (Olivia)

Mommy found these butterfly mirrors at the store and thought Daddy could do something fun with them in Olivia's room. This is the final product!

Mommy always seems to have all these great ideas for Daddy to do in our bedrooms. I'm not so sure how much Daddy enjoyed painting butterflies on Olivia's walls but he did it for Mommy anyways. And without complaining!

Summer Fun in the Water

It was pretty hot here for awhile so we spent a lot of time hanging by the pool with grandma...

There's a cool waterpark in LaMirada that is made just for little kids like me. Me, Ryry, Koko, and Christian all went (oh yeah, and we brought our moms along too). We had such a good time!

Awhile back it was really hot so mommy and daddy took me to a fountain made for playing in the water. I had a blast and really enjoyed dipping my head in the water! I know... I'm pretty silly!

Mommy lost her camera! She's hoping I hid it somewhere and it is just going to reappear! But really mom, I'm just not that kind of kid!

Beach

We took our first trip to the beach this summer today. Me and Mommy went with Grandma and Brooke. I had a lot of fun playing with Brooke! She showed me how to make sand castles and play in the waves. Grandma even bought us an ice cream cone at Ruby's on the pier!

Putting Daddy to Work

Mommy had Daddy hand paint the letters for Olivia's room to match her bedding. Daddy wasn't too excited about it but Mommy loved the final product. I think Daddy even surprised himself a little bit!

River Time

We had a trip to the river scheduled but we almost canceled it. Mommy and Daddy decided it was time for me to start potty training a couple of weeks ago. We were making so much progress that they didn't want to drive me all the way out to Havasu and ruin what we already started. I told them I could handle it, so off we went...

Let's just say it was a long day out on the boat! Anyone who know's me really well knows that I do not sleep anywhere except in my bed. I rarely fall asleep in the car, never in my stroller, and certainly never when anyone in holding me. I was so exhausted after a long day out on the lake that I fell asleep in Daddy's arms after my shower. Mommy and Daddy couldn't believe it so they had to take a picture!

Oh yeah... and by the way... I did great with the potty training thing on the trip! I can't believe they doubted me!
